The eighth annual Easter Egg Hunt was a great success despite miserable weather conditions. The annual hunt is located at the Klein’s house, home to seven governors and considered one of Meridian Street Foundation’s local treasures. The house is especially well suited for a youth activity because it is walled and gated, making for a safe place for the many roaming children to play.
The Easter Bunny made a special visit to see the 85 children that participated. The kids searched for and found over 1200 eggs. Everyone enjoyed themselves as they nibbled on donated goodies.
A special thanks to some of our favorite local neighborhood vendors that donated to make this a great event; Hubbard and Cravens, Flying Cupcake, Café Patachou, and Kids Ink. Hopefully, next year’s hunt will be warmer!
